fluctuating volume on my computer

bit of a random one but i thought id see if anyone on here had idea


recently my computer volumes seems to just drop to half volume for anywhere between 1 second to a couple of minutes randomly, i dont have a clue what could be doing it as the only thing that should be using my volume is my itunes, nothing else has sound on that i have opened but it still seems like its competing or the sound with something but i cant work out what it is :|


any ideas?
