what a pair of idiots those 2 coppers should feel right now  silly sods, surely if they were meant to be waiting for a recovery truck, but chose to drive it, thats taking without consent/joyriding and criminal damage due to crashing it??

Alas, on their salaries they can't afford one without a serious dose of corruption. So good on them in one sense. But you have to be a bit dim/lacking judgement to stuff one off the road when everything they are designed for is to keep you on the road ?

Not many people know this but I applied for the police force. Despite being within a year of the final age you can apply they sent round a sarge to my house to see if I was the right sort of chap. Then I went to a police station to see if I could add up and see  how many badies were in the video they showed us[ just count the ones stepping forward]
