I think Gethin Jones is a bit of a wimpy choice as a presenter. Although for a first programme in the new series, it wasn't bad. Pity I have seen most of the clips they used in previous series of PCA. It is more of a public service announcement rather than a police video show now. But it is good to have wake up calls every now and again when it comes to driving.

I for one think all youngsters should have some sort of wake up call style training before they go on the roads - that kind of skid pan stuff and meeting innocent victims families could have a real impact on their attitude. Maybe this is where our driver training goes wrong in this country, too busy training for a test and no time for anything else. Although would not be much help for the 7yr old caught driving the family car  Shocked

Back in there day there wasn't such as detailed test, they think they have the right to be on the rode and all blame all these young ones for everything.

I'm just proving a point  Wink

Think It was quite a good show agree it was a bit of a public service anouncement But I think that is needed sometimes. Found it unbelivable they could prosecute all 5 of the drivers of that car accident. But was probably correct to do just wondered how they could prove it that they were also contributing to the accident.

Good show and it's entertaining to watch and a has a bit more substance to it than the likes of Road wars but that's still good. Cheesy
Gethin is a bit of a nancy boy i agree.

To be fair if i were in charge over 70's would be forcibly removed from their vehicles!! Market day here is hideous they all come out for their 1 drive a week and its shocking!! At least the youngsters can learn to be better (if they live that long!) the oldies well, they cannot see properly, can't hear and have the reaction times of something laying dead on the central reservation - Pet hate can you tell!!!!
