Hi and welcome to the club?

Is the model you are looking at an Urban or a lite. The lite does without leccy windows, rear headrests etc. If it is an Urban and it at a dealer and going by mileage should be almost new, then I'd say a fair price. Check interior plastics not scruffy as cos a cheap car they can wear badly.
There are always cheaper, but condition and warranty are factors if it at a dealer. Also, go and see a few just to compare, don't just buy the first you see.

Good luck with it, don't worry about walking away there are loads out there  Grin

Hi Pamela, not a bad price but if putting it on finance, look around elsewhere, inc. your own bank just to check out the % APR rate. Could save you a small fortune in interest. Depends on what you were trading in and what they gave you for it, so obviously less total outlay than the examples on the page.

Welcome to the club by the way. Grin

It being an auto means it was more expensive initially as well and there aren't many bought. If you need an auto then trying find one 2nd hand will be more difficult, so sounds a good deal.

Not trying to worry you, but hopefully you know that the 107/C1/Aygo are identical mechanically, and the Toyotas dodgy accelerator pedals, did affect AUTO C1s/107/Aygos. But just check service book/documents to see if it was recalled and fixed.

Hope this helps, they are cracking little cars  Grin

I'm paying the rest on my creditcard/ overdraft and plan to have it paid off in about 10weeks ( well before Xmas anyway !)
it's all very scarey buying a car especially when I know nothing about the Market so I'm glad you've help ease my mind , thanks again x

Air con was an option.

blimey would be nice, with my smart pure it has a cd player and front fog lights , that's it!
Looking forward to a test drive , especially in semi auto as I'm used to changing gear (no clutch tho) and trying it in full auto, quite exciting but nervy knowing it's a lot of money

I'm also hoping they've sorted the clutch thing already if not will I have to pay to get it done?

Good girl, ditching the errrr Smart  Roll Eyes, took me a while to persaude my Mum against a Smart, but she eventually saw the light. As said you should be getting leccy windows, but only single button on each door, no multi button for driver to operate passenger door, remember it is a cheap car, well cheaper than a Smart and more seats.

my other half tried but I never saw the blummin light!

What's the 107 like for hills and pulling off from say traffic lights on a hill? I'm scared of roll back, and one plus points with the fortwo has hsa ( hillstart assist) where it lags a second intime to pull away

Hi again Pamela. On the hill start, the car will rollback slightly if you don't do it properly. You have to use the hand brake just like the rest of us do in the manual version. When you stop apply the hand brake, when you want to move off give the accelerator a gentle squeeze, the car will want to move, you'll feel it squat down a bit at the back, let the hand brake off and away you go, squeeze harder to go faster.
Susiebabe had problems to start with but mastered it soon enough. It goes just as quickly as the rest of them. Grin

The 107 is actually quicker, more economical, is more stable (though that's relative) and seats 4.  How SMART manage to sell a single car is beyond me.
