Hi Everyone.

Not a 107 owner, but looking into one as we only need 1 car and currently have 2, Ford Focus & a MX5 (sold it only a few hours ago).
Looking for something cheap to run & the 107 has quite taken our fancy.

Since passing my test back in 1998 I've aways been into cars, my pride and joy has been my MX5 for the last 10 years and also helped run a club and forum, so if I feel happy with a 107, expect mods  lol Wink although there be subtle.

I am after some info if poss, when looking at 107s, is there anything I should look out for or tale tale signs of possible future problems?
Got my eyes on the XS Sport at the moment, idealy want AC, do these come with AC?

many thanks

Jason & Abby

Clutch faults on cars up to late 07, clutch wear on all (it's a revvy unit with little torque so needs some spinning to pull away, and this is hard on clutches), exhaust rot, corrodded front discs, and front tyre wear are the biggies.  Interior trim can age quickly if it's been treated hard, but generally they're robust wee things.

There's loads about so take your time, and don't forget the near identical C1 or closely related Aygo.

Good luck.

Welcome Smiley

Yeah the C1 Code will be the spec closest to the 107 XS, the Code has Air con, half leather and 14" alloys as standard.

I've got the C1 Rhythm, problems I;ve had is as Handsome says, new clutch and I'm ready for new brakes too, the interior lower door cards get scratched quite easily as the plastic is grey but hey thats no biggy  Cool
