At the other end of the scale (and off topic) - I was stood next to an A380 last week at Farnboro.

"Big" does not do it justice !

It's still smaller than that wooden job that Howard Hughes built!

I always harboured an illogical lust for a Bond Bug.

I so wanted a bond bug when I saw a picture of one at my youth club...

Ditto re: Bond Bug - never knew until today that a 4 wheel variant was produced.

Does anyone remember seeing the Outspan (?) mini from their youth ?

I owned a Berkeley T60 for three years and it was a LOT of FUN. Fancy the Tourette if only for its name and the Smart Sportster as it recalls the T60....saw an open top with 17k for 6k and was almost tempted into an impulse buy!

Yes, saw an Outspan Mini in Newport Pagnell many years ago.  It was really rorty so I thought is was a motorbike approaching, but my little 'un was shouting, "Dad, Dad, there's an Orange driving down the road!"

There's one in the Coventry Transport Museum.

Oh yes I saw it parked in South Shields as I plodded to school.

It was achingly cool. I just new I could pick up burds in one of those. I just new if I took Angela Hunter to the chippy in it it would loosen the elastic....

In my youth, Outspan was a type of orange. "Outspans are more juicy, you know what I mean! was the ditty.

Quite what the smart is doing at number three I don't know. I sold mine today as it was far from safe - a car with an engine that continually shuts off with no warning, whether braking or accelerating, driving up hill or down, is not really safe.

Probably safe driving an orange...

There's one in the Coventry Transport Museum.

That one isn't in very good nick.

The paint is peeling.
