Thats like finding a bride isn't it?

Even though you are a student I'm sure the lucky lady will have to sign a pre-nuptial agreement or at least a business plan Roll Eyes

Perhaps Macca was one of those perverts who got his rocks off on amputee porn.  Apart from the deficit of limbs, she's mad as a hatter - perhaps that's how he pulled her in the first place, told her a bit of back door action would make her leg grow back?

Her efforts and determination in this field took on an ironic significance when in August 1993 her life changed for ever when she was involved in a road accident with a police motorcycle and suffered numerous injuries including crushed ribs, a punctured lung, multiple fractures of the pelvis and the loss of her left leg below the knee.

Strangely, that version of the story omits to mention how she was too busy gassing to her chum to take any notice of a dibble motorbike on a blue light run with it's wailers going, and how her inattention nearly killed the poor bobby. Funny that.

Back on topic (ish) briefly.

Mrs Vamps has a little black Panda on an 05 plate, and friends of ours just bought a brand new Fiat 500.

I must admit I do like the look of the new 500, but after driving both the 500 and the Panda, I have to say the Panda is a nicer drive! The Panda does have a bit more body roll than the 500, but is far smoother and more comfortable. I'd love a go in the 100hp version!

People do buy into the 'lifestyle' suggested by the 500 and the mini etc, but that's no different from anything else we do in our lives. Even what supermarket you chose to do your grocery shopping in says something about the kind of person you are, or rather perceive yourself to be. And there's nothing wrong with that!

I bought a tatty matt black rat motorcycle because it appeals to my sense of style and aesthetics, so says something about the sort of person I am. I could have bought a 125cc commuter bike, which on a practical level, would have done the same job as the rat bike (probably better) but wouldn't make me grin everytime I rode it!

So if we're going to deride somebody for choosing a car that has more style than substance, then we might as well all buy our food from Lidel and our clothes from Primark.

Yeah, I get my food from Netto and my strides from the Army Surplus.

You could've picked better examples!

Correcting someones spelling mistake in a quote, especially so obviously is a bit 'Not done' Ali... sort of suppressed aggression sort of thing....
