Yer. Well no but. Its because our car is a bit short rather than the parking space being too long. Supermarkets make billions on quite small margins so they will have some very expensive consultants telling them to a millimeter the optimum size of a parking space.
Our Tescos is being rebuilt and has a temporary carpark. Its chaos! Ive never seen so many shunts, near-misses, misunderstandings and two peeps knocked down on 'pedestrian crossings' in just three weeks. I go there every day for twenty minutes its true but its carnage! Peeps obviously get used to a well-thought out set-up and play involuntary bumper cars when its not... Naturally your correspondent has taken avoiding action and is still able, with impeccable timing, to get that £2 Mango for 17p out of the reduced section
