I AM NOT STRESSED!!!

Before i go and buy brand new, anypne got an indubtion kit they want to sell.
If not, i see there are number of different types on the cars i have seen on site. Which are the 'best' ones, K&N are ok but expensive compared to some of the other brands and types out there.
Ideas on a postcard please.

I got an unused 70mm Pipercross foam filter I'd sell for £30 posted.  You'd need a reducer to 60mm, but you'd have to buy pipework anyway so it'd be a cinch to incorporate.

Is that the standard black foam type with polished 'ends'.

Black foam cone with the external mesh and anodised red ends, with the inverted vortex cone malarkey on the outside end.

There are numerous posts on here from people who have noticed a difference, not massive i dare say, but if you can notice it then its there.

They do indeed sound awesome.  My experiements with a G-Tech meter bore out my seat-of-the-pants feeling that the mid range pepped up, albeit at the expense of top end power.  My theory is that it was a throttling effect caused by the pipework more than the filter itself.

Yeah, no NET improvement, it just shifts it around a bit.  I shan't be bothering this time, but the filter's on standby for Bondy if he wants it.  I can't even remember what car I'd originally bought it for.

If I was Gonna mod my 107 for more speed I would fit a stainless de cat pipe That would free the engine up a bit Bit of a pain mot time getting it changed over But I would think that would be the most effective way of getting better throttle response and maybe a wee bit more bhp.
