More fur flying - GM in the states have to recall about 1.2 million small cars with a power steering fault, and the component in question is made by a firm who have Toyota as their majority shareholder.  Naturally, GM are planning to sue the arriss off Toyota over the expense of the recall, and the harm to it's reputation, which is further going to hit Toyota groups worthiness as a business.

All manufacturers suffer recalls, but Toyota really are having an unfortunate run of luck and really need to raise their game.  Had they simply become complacent?  Ideas on a faulty Toyota component to:

Surely that must be wrong on 2 counts, they don't do 'small' cars in US and US cars are well know for being rubbish at turning corners as well  Grin

See 2 points any worthwhile US lawyer could use in Toyotas defence.

Seriously though, this whole recall thing is just a big game of blame tennis  Grin, and this time it is GM blaming Toyota  Cry

I'm not an especial fan of yank tanks, but to be fair to GM i'd have a bit of a downer on Toyota if there business was cositing me tens of millions of dollars and tarnishing my reputation.  It's a good thing Toyota Us aren't based in Texas, cos they'd have been hung by a posse by now.

I'd ring a dealer they should tell you.

The ESP should light up and then disappear on start up like the other lights if you've got it I think.

I don't think you can but i'm only 19 so don't have a clue about anything.

The 107s got ABS and Brakeforce distribution as well as Cornering Stability Control which is sort of ESP. So enough to see you through in most situations

To be honest unless you go flying into corners far too quick you won't use or need it and its just another thing to go wrong. It may come in handy on snow.
