There is a guy near Wakefield who used to modify seat for us when I worked in Leeds. I will try and find you his number.

DLC Motorcycle seat recovering 01274 604672. They are based in Bradford, not Wakefield.

Saxon also do good work, but it is a bit pricey.

Unless you have stunning ability then proper trials tyres [not trail] I found excellent both on and off road. Reasonably priced and road legal.

 Low weight is key for the bike itself. I did have 500cc trailies but 200/250cc were much more fun.

Anyone ever riden a Yamaha TY250?

How would one go about making a trial bike road legal? I assume these types of bike don't have V5's?

You need to physically get all the road kit fitted, and get it SVA'd.  A pain, but do-able.
