Had a real prob with my 107 this w/end. The engine coolant and battery warning lights came on and the red STOP was flashing. Managed to drive home but it was making v odd noises, sounded like a tractor.
Had it looked at a garage yesterday; the water pump had completely broken and the fanbelt was shredded! Cost me £284 to fix it.
Does this sound excessive?! Also, has anyone else had the same problem?

My waterpump destroyed itself after 50K miles!
I managed to get it replaced under warranty.

The pump itself is quite cheap http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/waterpump-Citroen-C1-1-0i-12v-04-05_W0QQitemZ200343999880QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2ea56ed588

The job takes about 2hrs I think, so £284 sounds about right once labour, gaskets and replacing fluids and dealer's mark up is taken into account.

I've been told it's a common thing on 107's, the water pump breaking. They charged me £90 for labour, the water pump was £92 then about £14 for the fan belt and also anti-freeze.....

My personal favourite is inheritance Tax. They pick yer pockets when yer dead! If, like me you believe in reincarnation, that is a pretty mean trick. No wonder some peeps return as [poor as] a church mouse....

I suffered the same failure but was still just in warranty. It is now time to worry about your clutch Grin
