Just bought a new 107 urban - cant find any decent alloys - what will fit?

The dealership says i can only put on official wheels as not to ruin the warrenty alos they must be 14" x 4.5"?

anyone any advice where i can get alloys that look nice - reasonably priced?

Or anyone out their got any ones for sale?

Many thanks

You can get some from Halfrauds. John Hook got a nice set of black Team Dynamics.

I've got 15 inchers on mine, and they cause no problems what so ever and look far better than 14's.

Fitting alloys will only invalidate the warranty for wheel related bits e.g. brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, and if these fail, you just bolt the standard wheels back on before taking it back to the dealers!
I've just had the water pump replaced on mine under warranty and the only mention the alloys got was "nice wheels mate" from one of the grease monkeys.

Just remember that when you ask, you want them to fit a Toyota Aygo, as the stud pattern etc are not the same as Pug or Citroen.

The best ones to have would be 15 inch alloys with, 195 45 15 tyres, or 16 inch alloys with 195 40 16 tyres, this way the speedo will still read pretty much true.

As for where to buy, it really depends how much you are willing to spend, try ebay, there is always a bargain on there.

Hi Jay, welcome to the club. When I bought my Verve, I asked the Service workshop Manager what I could modify on my car without affecting my warranty. I asked about 16" alloys, full Stainless exhaust system (from cat. back), Induction kit and changing the head unit. As far as he was concerned, they would all be fine as long as anything electrical was done properly with the exception of anything to do with the running of the engine, like chipping. He also said that if anything did go wrong and they suspected it was my modification that had done it, they would have to prove that it was the fault of the modified part. He admitted, that could be hard to do.
I was told by a few guys at the dealers to bring it back when completed as they wanted a look. Sales Manager, salesman I dealt with, service Manager, Parts guy and a few mechanics were all drooling over it. You'd think they'd never seen a 107 before Roll Eyes . The only negative comment was from the sales Manager, about me having a sunroof again and weakening the structure, like he complained about when I traded my other car in. The 107 doesn't need the roof support removed to fit one, so there's no problem, That support is just to stop the roof skin vibrating, its not structural as such. In fact the instructions for fitting the roof said to remove it. That's a sunroof option in the 107 accessory list as well. Grin Grin

IF you are looking for wheels, The set I have are 16"x7" stud pattern is 4x100 and offset E35, my tyres were supposed to be 40 profile but they ran out  so they sent 195/45/16 instead. Only problem I had was N/S rear tyre caught on a little sticky out bit on the inner wheel arch, when the suspension compressed more than half way. Sorted when I bent it up. The 3dr has more space I think as it doesn't need to dip in to allow the rear door to sit flush with the bumper. I also have spring assisters in the rear, so it doesn't droop as much when 4 people are in it.          Cool

Your dealer knows nothing other than how to remove money from your wallet. His knowledge of alternative wheels will be nil unless he has some to sell.I don't know how old you are but the sooner you learn your dealer [of anything] is not your best friend the sooner you might not p**s your wages away.

Me too some advice thanks.
Two questions:
1. Will a wheel rim 15" with a width 7J be okay on a 107 ? I know that 15" is no problem but width 7J ?
2. (Separate question) And tyres 185/55/15 fitted to the above second hand wheel rims?
I've the possibility to buy the tyres fitted to the above said rims together. The rims are really nice and white like the colour of my 107 which should arrive in 10 days and given the price are perhaps worth while in themselves even forgetting the tyres. These wheels where fitted to a Renault.  Thanks for any advice...Keith
