When i went to get my sub the guy showed us a sweet under seat pioneer one, i said you could have two under each seat, he then replied not worth it get this and it was a double flat sub that would go across the back seat. So if you dont need the back seat have a look, if not then go for a under seat one.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
never go there lol i hate that store now.
I reserved a stereo on there site for my car, go to collect and there wasnt one there so wasted 1.5 hours off my life for nothing.
Also the other day someone at mine and my dads workplace had a new battery fitted but the car wouldnt start. The probblem in the end was that the connectors wernt connected so overall i woulod class halfords as poor service, and these insidents were at different stores.

Hey there Tif, i had exactly the same problem as you, and i bought a blaupunkt underseat sub, and to be honest it sounds great. Enough bass to rattle the windows if need be, but for normal day use it is perfect.

It cost £100, and then i paid £60 to get it professionally fitted, which in my opinion was a bargain as the guy made a perfect job of it.

This is the link... http://www.bluespot.co.uk/stock/spkr0_2.asp

This is what it looks like:

It is under the passenger seat, some girls like it... Wink And then others just think it sounds great. But lovely sub overall, hope this helps.

after all you only need vibrations if you cant do the job yourself  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I have one of these Clarion SRV313 units.  Its ok but i wouldn't recomend it.  Its very peaky.  Works well with some music but on the rest its just not accurate enough.

I bought one of the cheap Ripspeed ones from Halfords for £39.90. I have to agree with the reviews on their site, for the money it is very good. It wont shake the car to bits but it will give you a decent amount of bass to compliment the front speakers. I have alpine front speakers and a pioneer stereo that lets me block the low notes to the speakers and control the sub from the stereo. The only trouble with doing it through the stereo is that some bass is too much on some songs and ok on others.
I will have to try it out with the remote control you get with it and i should then be able to adjust the bass on the fly.

Colin.
