Hi all it's me again! Is there a towbar assembly available for the 107? Would like to go camping in France this year and i would like to bung all my camping gear in a trailer and tow it behind my faithful 107. I'm thinking of a kinda tour de france camping trip for myself

hi antigua blue there is a tow bar that fits a toyota aygo and also fits 107 and c1 its available in holland . its a bike carrier also can be adapted to fit a tow ball on. they say that that the aygo cannot tow a trailer, but i know someone who does i will be ordering one in the next few weeks to fit on my 107

The towbar will have to be type-approved ?
Otherwise no passing your next MOT and possibly invalid insurance ?
I'm presuming the Dutch one is T/A - should have a plate on it stating so.

As far as I was aware, there's no way of fitting a tow-bar. There's simply no hardpoint on the chassis - I know, after my rear-destroying crash - there's absolutely nowhere to mount a (road legal type) tow-bar. However, I'd be interested to see proof one would work...

It is not allowed to tow anything with the 107-Aygo-C1. Unfortunally you can only use a towbar for a bike carrier or something like that.

A tow bar type approval has nothing to do with an MOT test whatsoever! Ben

As I said, a tow bar type approval rating has nothing to do with the MOT Ben

Surely the car would be incapable of carrying such weight? My best bet is a roof rack, you can normally pick the bars up quite cheap...? One of the few mods REFZ hasn't got (yet) !?
Haha, I don't think this is REFZ kind of mod to be honest... Jonnn

Yep, Jonpod is right. The car is hardly able to tow itself along let alone a tow-bar as well.
