Hi all it's me again!

Is there a towbar assembly available for the 107? Would like to go camping in France this year and i would like to bung all my camping gear in a trailer and tow it behind my faithful 107. I'm thinking of a kinda tour de france camping trip for myself  Smiley

hi  antigua blue
there  is  a  tow  bar  that  fits  a  toyota  aygo  and also  fits 107  and c1
its  available  in  holland .  its  a bike  carrier also  can  be  adapted to  fit  a  tow  ball on.
they  say   that   that  the  aygo cannot  tow a  trailer, but  i know  someone  who does
i  will  be  ordering  one  in the  next  few  weeks to  fit  on my  107

The towbar will have to be type-approved ?

Otherwise no passing your next MOT and possibly invalid insurance ?

I'm presuming the Dutch one is T/A - should have a plate on it stating so.

As far as I was aware, there's no way of fitting a tow-bar. There's simply no hardpoint on the chassis - I know, after my rear-destroying crash - there's absolutely nowhere to mount a (road legal type) tow-bar.
However, I'd be interested to see proof one would work...

It is not allowed to tow anything with the 107-Aygo-C1.
Unfortunally you can only use a towbar for a bike carrier or something like that.

A tow bar type approval has nothing to do with an MOT test whatsoever!

As I said, a tow bar type approval rating has nothing to do with the MOT

This must be the one from Holland.

Not sure if this helps anyone.

Surely the car would be incapable of carrying such weight? My best bet is a roof rack, you can normally pick the bars up quite cheap...?

Haha, I don't think this is REFZ kind of mod to be honest... Grin

Yep, Jonpod is right. The car is hardly able to tow itself along let alone a tow-bar as well.
