I remember the old Omegas used to have a built in carphone.

However, you had to remove your SIM each time to use it - hardly convenient.

What's this 'bluetooth' thingy?  Mines got a mobile phone built in to the stereo, so no need for all this wireless chicanery.

No luck with the old girl yet Markie?  shame, cos she's a clean wee beastie.

It connects the phone to the cars radio without wires and makes phone calls without touching the phone. Handy in todays law driven world

For me to make a phone call, all i'd do it talk to the car and (in theory) will go into my phone book and select the number i want. Can do the same to change the radio station or CD player. Just talk to her and she will change it over

Cracking - drove thousands of miles in them as hire cars.  One week the hire co didnt have one, so delivered a nissan maxima instead.

From memory it had a 3.5l V6 - sounded superb, went like stink around town, and I wasnt paying the fuel bill...

the four-oh you can whack a sim in it, or use pootooth on your existing phone.  TBH, the cheap PAYG sim was worth it to slap in there cos te performance is streets ahead of pootooth.
