It's a 3 year old 107 been bought by a friend of my Mum.  Quite a few are cropping up used with the shelf missing.  I guess people take them out, stick them in the garage or wherever, and forget about them.

I found the shelf to my old Almera GTi some 2 years after I'd sold the car.
