1991 Yamaha FZR600.  MOT just up, taxed til April 2009.

48k miles.  Excellent runner, no leaks or rattles.  Starts on the button, and stops and goes as it should.  New stainless can (BS marked & legal).  New seats. New Tyres, super sticky BT014s.  Whichever way you cut it, it's still a 12 second 150mph machine, which'll do 60mpg if ridden with restraint.

I know of no reason why it shouldn't pass an MOT, but with 2 bikes and 2 cars I just don't have the time or inclination.  The front brakes are worn, but i've a set of replacement discs i'd throw in.

£450, or make me an offer.

Yes, professionally redone in satin black.  £100 even after I prepped the bodywork and dropped it off.  It's not a Cornish rattle-can job.

Alas that is exactly what it looks like. If that was a professional spray then that is the last colour/finish to choose . I still think its a Cornish rattle-can job Cheesy

PS: good job you make all those amazing savings at Perry's Cheesy

I chose the colour deliberately, cos it's my track day bike - if it got chucked up the tarmac it'd be the minimum of expense and effort to rectify.  The finish is flawless.

Got a punter coming over to view it Monday just to double annoy you,Dogs.

Don't be a chump.

Damaged parts would be binned for parts from the spare set of bodywork I have (which'll be on the 'bay soon), but the satin black was about half what gloss cost at the bodyshop, so repairs are consequently cheaper, and there's no issues with paint mismatch if any needs replacing.  Do you really think the plastics would be likely to survive sufficinetly to be repainted if it went up the road?  I certainly don't.

The chap that's coming Monday saw an identical copy of this ad on another motoring site, and he will be presented with the receipt from Clays bodyshop, Blakelands, Milton Keynes, to prove point.
