Laser red, 07 plate, just under 11k miles, serviced meticulously by myself at a fraction under 10k using genuine Peugeot parts with receipts to prove (and if the new owner wants a copy of my spanner twirling credentials to go with the history, it shall be done).

One registered keeper (me) - none of that pre-regitered bull here.

Pioneer rear speakers, chrome door handles, door handle protectors, induction kit (OE airbox can be refitted if preferred), interior light delay, otherwise stock and unmolested.

Cleaned and waxed twice weekly using Wheelygood and Bilt hamber products only, including the inner wheelarches.  Underside periodically cleaned and detailed as well - all this is done by hand, with no poxy steam cleaners.  Genuinely A1 condition.  Unmarked in and out - I guarantee you will not find a better one.  This is not a bullshit claim and I will back it up by offering a tenner to charity if anyone finds a used 107 XS for private sale in superior condition.

This car was set to be a concours entrant at this years Pugfest, but needs to go.  I've had an offer from the stealers, but before I commit i'm offering it up at £6400.

£6k dead on.  I don't mind admitting I only paid £6200 for it new (£8595 list at the time), but surfing about I cant find a used one within £500 of my asking price, and i'm very confident there won't be any in this condition used.  Worse comes to worst i'll take the dealers offer, and enjoy the warm glow of knowing i've lost next to bugger all and that they'll be punting it out for a grand more, but i'd just as happily offer it up to the good folk on here first.

It make little odds to me either way, and makes a mockery of some of the prices folk are asking for these.

Makes a mockery of bangernomics !

Drive a new motor and make a profit !

I remember this happened when Rover went belly up.  If you had the balls to buy a 75 when they bottomed out, you could sell for a marginal profit a year later when the parts position had stablilised.

I meant to say, if i don't sell it privately and the dealer has it, i'll be swapping the leather steering wheel with the laccy one from the urban  Roll Eyes

Weather permitting, yes.  That's the difference between concours, and mere "Show 'n' Shine".
