Just bought the above and disappointed to find its a generic kit complete with generic instructions.....

Does anyone have the kit fitted?

Where do Pug fit the sensors (in the unpainted bumper trim?)

How do I get the rear bumper off?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Someone at work has the factory fitteds to a C1 (same back bumper I think ?) - they're fitted into the black rubbing strip.

There's also an Aygo - they are mounted along the bottom of the bumper.

Could always go back to the dealer and ask for advice ?

Thanks for confirming they fit them in the black rubbing strip - that was my plan to avoid the need to paint the sensors.

Re the dealer, I had the same issue as someone else on here - they don't want to fit them!

I have no probs with the wiring and trim etc I just can't see how the clips work where the plastic rear end meets the wings and I don't want to snap them off by mistake.

No offence Bull, but anyone who needs rear parking sensors on a car as small as the 107 (with almost a vertical rear end) shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel for fear of hitting things. Smiley

It's got to be the easiest car to park there is!

I saw a people carrier a couple of days ago with a really nasty looking rear sensor kit. Think it was a red bumper and it had a couple of black wires coming out from under the lip of the boot, down to a couple of black sensors down on the bumper.

Thanks for the doc link - looks like I need some thick tape, a screwdriver and a steady hand (assuming the Pug clips are the same as the Aygo).

As to needing (or wanting) the parking aid, the car is my 17 year old daughter's and I am betting £80 on the kit against £800 for a new bumper......its not the length of the car I'm bothered about but the low walls, bikes and bollards she won't spot!

The cars so small - Just look to where the wiper is - thats the end of the car.

In fact the cars so tiny I can open the closest rear window while driving.

It maybe a tiny car, but it's a bugger to park! I can't get it right! Mrs Vamps has a big 4 door saloon thingy (some far eastern car, Poketon or something) which has a big bonnet and big boot, and I can park that perfectly everytime in a space just bigger than the car, but my C1 I just can't do it! I think it's too short! It's well embarrassing wiggling back and forth in a space twice the length of your car!
