I've had a reply to my email.  They tell me that pug currently have no plans to make a 107 with a larger engine (which is not what i'd asked). They then tell me that if I want a small pug with a larger engine (no, I asked for a higher performance one) that the 1007 and the 207 are both available with larger engines.

All well and good, except all versions of the 1007 accelerate slower than the 107, and it handles like a drunk 1 legged water buffalo thats caught its nuts on a barbed wire fence, and has a reliability record that would make even Renfault owners recoil in horror.

The 207 isn't really a small car.

Twats.

I told 'em  pretty much that, though i never would, but they don't know that.

What a bunch of tossers - couldn't ever answer my question proprly, much less determine what the market wants.
