While i was looking at the parts list for the 107, i noticed a new part.

A new exhaust called Race Big Bore Twin Oval - Part Number VAS214

However a bit of looking round the internet, and no information comes up on that part number. So would this mean a GTI 107? Or an XS replacement with more BHP?

The Sports twin exhaust is still listed as a part (exhaust from the XS). But since Peugeot have taken down the XS model off the website, could this mean an even more sporty 107 to go head to head with the new fast city cars comming out?

Look on page 8.

I reckon they'll bring out a twingo sport rival, they like moths to a flame car manufacturers! 110bhp or so would go down nicely  Grin

this is old but maybe good !!

The 107 is to be built alongside the upcoming Citroen C1 and Toyota's tiny Aygo in a joint development at a factory in the Czech Republic; being derived from the current Citroen C2 underpinnings, the 107 should be roomier than the model it replaces. The engine range should comprise the usual PSA-built small-capacity city engines (1.1- and 1.3-litre petrols and a 1.3 diesel), and probably a 1.6-litre GTI version for boy racer types with up to 110bhp but probably no more to keep insurance prices to a minimum.

ooooh that would be so good a 1.6 version, would even have to convert to Peugeot if Toyota didn't follow!

Well, they did initially promise a 110bhp GTi.  My money would be on the new BMW-Peugeout unit, shorn of its turbo, if it comes...

But imagine the potential of a larger engine - you could get that supercharged...

yeah I agree with Ade...plus if there was a toyota version it would have to be named after a colour..so what would be green?? white (white knuckle ride..lol)

Took 2 years before the 207GTi was launched, so i wouldn't discount it, but still won't hold my breath.

Maybe a sporty hot 107 will be released as a "send off" to the 107, Many car makers do this and normally limited to a set amout of cars. The 107 is 3 years old, and is about mid way in the cars life so they will normally do something i'd guess.

Maybe a face lift is due soon?
