yer 150bp in the "ST" does seem low compared to clio 182s etc a friend of mine has a Zetec S the yellow one with the Checkered (wannabe mini) roof and thats quite nice and puts out about 100bhp which seems to push it along fairly well. its to quiet though!

Hi,
The Zetec S gets good reviews, and they do it in diesel with 100bhp also, which they say is very good.
They are cheap at the car supermarkets, but well over priced at the stealers.

But the Fester  Zetec S forwever lives with the stigma of being the cheap option, the nearly man, the runner up. New Fiesta next year, so used prices will take a hammering - good if you're buying now and plan to keep it til it explodes, but not good if you plan to chop it in for a new one a year or two down the line.

The ST has its own issues - thanks to Clarkson, little kids shout "sanitary towel" every time they see one, and the C2 VTS is within a gnats nadge as fast for 3 grand and 3 insurance groups less, so only the masochistic or those that must have a Fester at all costs regardless of money, image, insults or common sense, end up with them.

Worst thing about the Fiasco is the numerous negative cachets that go with them - everything from boy racer, through to essex girl, across to coffin dodger, and then full circle to rent boy.  Another bad thing about them is my brother in law - he's a big k**b for Ford & Jag, and gets a racy fiesta every year, whcih he then passes on to his missus.  He's a class a bellend, so if he ever bought, say, a Ferrari 430 Scuderia, then that model would by default become the gayest, crappiest car ever built.  As it is, fiestas must remain at the base level of left handed, toe touching doggy doos, cos it annoys him immensely that I air these views (but he won't ever say it, cos the little weasel is scared of me).

the k series had a nice sound, i went from a 205 to a rover 200 and the engine really stood out when u reved it.  205 was probly knackerd.  i like the bippers, it boasts something like 60mpg or 70 on the diesel...   i keep seeing the electric peogeot partner in coventry uni paint job, apperently on some web site i read that only coventry and paris have the electric ones.  step in the rite direction with this i reckon.  the govements investing money in getting rid of un-environmental public service vehicles so i reckon ul see alot of these about..

He's his identical twin which he disguises by giving his head that "I haven't shaved for two days look".

Peugeot have officially gone insane

What in the name of all that's holy were they smoking when they thought this would be a good idea? It's supposed to be based on the FAP technology used in the LeMans cars but this is just mental...

According to The Independent the Bipper with back seats and windows will be reserved for the Continent and not available to UK.

Shame on Peugeot if that's true.
