Hi guys and girls,

my little 107 is coming up for it's first 10,000 mile service.

my local dealers have quoted me:

Peugeot clock garage (Castle Bromwich)   £148 all inc

Peugeot Colliers Erdington                         £165 all inc

These both seem expensive for a 1 1/2 hour service which involves just changing the oil?!

anyone know of a peugeot dealer that will do it cheaper?!

Neil

£80 will be the labour for the work you then have to pay for the oil and filters. Air filter etc. As for the rest of the money it is probably VAT. You know what they are like.

Yeah, when my Fiancee was first thinking about a 107 back in Nov '05, I asked about servicing - the stealer said 1st 10000 mile service would be £80. Just rang to get a quote (service not due yet, just rang out of interest) and suddenly the quote comes in at £160; double what it was when she bought the car. Crafty salesperson.... Angry

As PugBug said, we all know what they are like so shouldn't be surprised.
