I am just wondering, how much would a set of factory alloy wheel cost?
Mine comes with a set of steel wheels and plastic covers.

£450..... in my oppinion they are not worth it! They are the same size as the standard wheel trims, also they swap your tyres onto them..... a waste of £450 if you ask me! I would wait and see what Peugeot bring out in the summer if i were you. Or if you dont mind after market ones you will pick up a lovely set with tyres for that price!

Thanks for your information! In fact, I have decided not to rush to my dealer to get them in the near future. I am sure the aftermarket ones are good as well, I'll definately wait fora bit for this.

Hi Daz, I don't THINK the pcd and offset are the same, as the hubs are not typical "peugeot" due to the cars joint development? Also, that price on the 16" Fox wheels is banannas!!!!!!! you'll deffo be able to get them cheaper!!! Even with our initial discounts we've been offered they are poking you eyes out!!!! Tongue

Does anyone now the weight of the factory alloys? I'm almost certain I have read they are heavier than the steel ones Shocked . Kind of defeats the object of lowering the unsprung weight. Roll Eyes

Somebody please find some black  14"alloys, like the ones on the Citroen C1 racers, or some OZ racing/Speedline Cool tasty!

Standard steel wheel and tyre is 11.5KG
My Oz wheels are much large width and come in at 15.4Kg
If you want comparable you would have to go for a set of OZ Ultra Leggeras. A wee bit pricey though!!

the missus has already scuffed the trim on one side of ours!  so now I know that not getting the alloys was a good idea.

What I had thought about was painting the rims white - like the 106/306 rallye - might be a job for photoshop?? I can lose the trims altogether and it might look pretty cool.

Based on the wheel size I would imagine that most alloy rims and tyres will not weigh any less than the steels - but they would look better!

looks cool,

I was thinking of something a little less expensive though...  Grin

I might take the trims off and have play with a generic photo editing package.
