YEP THEY HAVE A GTI

Engine: 1.6-litre 4cyl turbo
Power: 175bhp
0-60mph: 7.2 seconds (est)
Price: £15,900 (est)

For anyone with fond memories of the original 205 GTi, the fact Peugeot has played it safe with the hot 207 will come as a disappointment. Nevertheless, the 1.6 turbo engine is a belter, and early impressions suggest the production car, launched in March, will handle crisply. But the most exciting news is that Peugeot will keep the pressure on rivals with a 210bhp RC.

Hi,
I don't know whether its the graphics that suck, or the colour, but something isn't right!! The 207GT is 150bhp, and I thought that was a bit watered down, but the GTI needs 200bhp to be a class leader. As for 16K, thats up there with the Focus ASBO(ST) and Civic type R!!!!. I'd rather take a Fiesta ST with 150bhp, less weight and for £10,800, which was the cheapest I saw one at the other day!!!

I think you may just be able to get your back end out in that meadowfield but i wouldn't want your fuel consumption!
